Phantom of the Opera Dragonhorse Style

In case you don't know, (which I'm sure you don't) I love The Phantom of the Opera. I first read the book in French, which wasn't really hard. Then I saw the new movie. The one with Gerard Butler. I had the urge to draw something. So I did this. It's a dragonhorse cuz 1. I like to draw them 2. They're black 3. I wanted the flying hair. I know I could have done that with any dragon, but the dragonhorse fits perfectly.
This is atually my second one. I was working on the first one when the system shut down for some strange reason. I forgot to save it so it was gone. Now I'm glad though because this came out sooo much better. Personally, I like the top one better. The bottom one I wanted to see what it would look like with a multicolored background.
I was going to put a hippogriff head in the top corner as Christine Daee but I didn't. Don't ask why a hippogriff. It's too long a story.

Oromis

Lookie! I can do people now! YAAAAAAY!!!! I couldn't do people to save my life. My secret? A drawing book called "Drawing and Painting Fantasy Figures" by Finlay Cowan. This is actually my second humanoid picture. The first is a demon thing I drew last night, but I'm not sure if I want to put it on. I will if you want. Anyway, this is Oromis from "Eldest." Yup, Glaydr's(is that how you spell it?) Rider. This is roughly how I picture him. I tried to get his expression to show age and kindness as well as sternness and wisdom. I might do a better portrait when I get better at drawing people. Tell me ANYTHING that you see wrong! I don't care what it is! It could be the way I did the scarf, the way I did the face, or even the way I shaded. I don't care what detail(large or minute) is wrong, just tell me so I can improve.

Goldendragon in Eagle Form

TaDa! It's Goldendragon in her eagle form. Sorry it took so long. I had fun doing it when I finally made the final copy. I was never able to successfully draw an eagle before. There are still some things that could be done better, like the claws. They did not come out the way I hoped. Goldendragon, if you see anything wrong that you want me to fix, let me know. The gold spots on your wings came out pretty nice I think, but if you want anything changed let me know. I'll see what I can do. Sorry if it's not perfect.

Warning...well, sort of.

Just so everyone knows, I really got into drawing dragonhorses again. They used to be the only thing I drew, then it almost became a "forgotten art." They're fun to draw. So, just expect dragonhorse pictures to show up every now and then. I'll try not to overdo it.

Dragonhorse Carving and Silhouette

I figured out how to add different textures to my comp. pictures. The top one is the finished version. The one below technically is the scrap. I made the the dragonhorse in black, saved it, and filled it in. But (the wording might be tricky so I'll try to make it clear) the finished one was saved as a different file so the outline was also saved. This way, if I messed up and couldn't fix it, I still had the outline. When I was done, I felt that I had to do something with the outline. So I made it look like a silhouette. I had this sort of idea for quite a while, but never got around to it.
Goldendragon, I know you're probably wondering why I haven't put yours up yet. I have a copy of it done, but it's on lined paper, and I didn't want that. I promise yours will be up soon!
