Phantom of the Opera Dragonhorse Style

In case you don't know, (which I'm sure you don't) I love The Phantom of the Opera. I first read the book in French, which wasn't really hard. Then I saw the new movie. The one with Gerard Butler. I had the urge to draw something. So I did this. It's a dragonhorse cuz 1. I like to draw them 2. They're black 3. I wanted the flying hair. I know I could have done that with any dragon, but the dragonhorse fits perfectly.
This is atually my second one. I was working on the first one when the system shut down for some strange reason. I forgot to save it so it was gone. Now I'm glad though because this came out sooo much better. Personally, I like the top one better. The bottom one I wanted to see what it would look like with a multicolored background.
I was going to put a hippogriff head in the top corner as Christine Daee but I didn't. Don't ask why a hippogriff. It's too long a story.

Those are cool. I haven't read the Phantom, but I've heard its good. I personally like the bottom one better, the gradient in the background gives a nice effect.

I like the top one because it's got that shadow effect.

The shadow on the top is nice. Perhaps the bottom one could have a gradient going the other way, so that the shadow could show on that one. That might look cool.
